It is not by chance that Collstrop chooses Red Nordic Pine. Thanks to its open cell structure, this type of wood can be impregnated right down to its core. And this is essential to be able to offer a 25-year guarantee.

What’s more, this type of wood is freely available in Europe, so it doesn’t travel far (good for the ecological foot print) and comes from sustainably managed forests. Collstrop of course has its own licence allowing it to process both PEFC and FSC wood.
